Over the last few days we have taken reports of three theft from motor vehicle on the City West area where windows have been smashed in order to secure entry and property stolen from within.

One vehicle attacked on Ainsley Road between 20:00 on 06/02/2024 and 07:00 on 07/02/2024.

The second vehicle was entered on Manville Close between 00:30 on 08/02/2024 and 08:45 on 08/02/2024.

The third vehicle was entered on Radford Bridge Road, Wollaton between 22:15 08/02/2024 and 11:00 08/02/2024.

The City West Neighbourhood Policing team have however arrested and charged a suspect with offences relating to vehicle crime on the City West area which occurred in late January 2024 and continue to conduct investigations into other identified suspects.

Please ensure that if you leave your vehicle unattended that it is locked and report any person you see acting suspiciously around vehicles and ensure that there are no valuables on show. If a crime is in progress, then please contact Nottinghamshire Police on 999.
