On Sunday 2nd March 2025 Mansfield South Neighbourhood Policing Team are out conducting Operation Nebraska - Hot spot patrols to target off-road vehicles being driven illegally or in an Anti Social manner in the areas that matter most to local communities. In total, officers several vehicles fail to stop including quad bikes, off-road motorcycles and Surrons (electric motorcycles). One vehicle was seized during the operation.  

Due to the improvement of weather conditions, there was a large increase of keen hikers, dog walkers and cyclists in the area - some even having picnics in the sun! 

We rely on the public to report any incidents involving such vehicles causing issues, our hotspots are based on calls received and responses from ongoing engagement with community leaders, we rely on the public to make us aware of such issues.
