GPS - Be Vigilant against theives!

We have had a report this week of a GPS being stolen from a Tractor parked in a farm yard in the North of our County. Investigations are now ongoing. We want to make all farmers aware of this which is the first report of such a theft in Nottinghamshire for a number of years, however crimes have also been reported recently in neighbouring counties.

Please remember to remove all GPS when the Tractor is not working and lock away in a safe place, or keep the vehicle and the GPS in a safe, locked storage place and if you have CCTV installed please ensure this is working and can cover the entry/exit point of that location.

Please report any suspicious vehicles or activity surrounding your farm yard or land, we take these crimes very seriously and they will be reported to the National Rural Crime Unit in addition for further intelligence investigations
