Emerging Vehicle theft trend - Nissan Navara

Do you own a Nissan Navara? We have seen a recent increase in keyless theft of these vehicle models specifically across Nottinghamshire, we have had 7 thefts recorded in the last 5 weeks across our County and want to advise owners to be vigilant and take action to prevent crime:

Park your vehicle within sight of CCTV or a recording doorbell device

Do not leave your vehicle unattended

Have a tracker fitted or place a tracking device within the vehicle that you can access

We are unsure why these specific models of 4x4 are being targeted and would advise the same for any vehicle, however the current spike in thefts of this model in particular is cause for concern and we urge you to take steps to prevent crime and give us the best chance of recovering your vehicle should it be stolen
