Two arrested for weapons offences in consecutive weeks

Proactive police work has led to two separate arrests over the past few weeks in Clifton

On Monday 6th October a 20 year old male was stopped on Florey Walk where a tomahawk axe as well as drugs were discovered inside a vehicle. He was arrested and charged to court and is due to appear later this month. 

On Monday 13th October officers have sighted a vehicle on Clifton lane which has made off towards East Leake. The driver has ran from the vehicle and been arrested a short time later. An 18 year old male is currently on police bail for possession of a knife as well as drug and traffic offences.
