CRIME update for July 2026 |

Dear Resident
Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Dunkirk Police beat area during the month of July.
Burglaries residential = 1 28/07 Cloister Street – Report of burglary by occupant whilst suspect heard within the property.
Criminal damage = 2 14/07 Finch Close – At 9:30pm, suspects have cut through 2x fences and smashed lights causing significant damage to work premises Sandicliffe Accident repair centre. 15/07 Finch Close – At 9:50pm, suspects have smash CCTV cameras and Infrared security light causing significant damage to work premises Libra drinks wholesale.
Theft of motor vehicle = 1 14/07 Redfield Road – Victim has prevented 3x male suspects attempting theft of motorbike, but have caused damages.
Theft from vehicle = 2 11/07 Marlborough Street – Rear vehicle registration number plate stolen. 11/07 Abbey Street – Forced entry by smashing passenger side window, number of clothing items stolen from within.
